These Violent Delights

In a word: beautiful.
I was hooked when I read that it was a Romeo & Juliet retelling set in 1920's Shanghai. That's when I knew I just HAD to read it, and I'm so glad I did. The story was wonderfully executed in such a way that will leave you yearning for more. I'm so invested in Roma and Juliette's story. My mind is still reeling from the ending, and I am anxiously waiting for the sequel.
